Sales Representatives will visit randomly selected households without an appointment and work to effectively recruit families to participate in the TV ratings program; which will capture their viewing habits at no cost to the household. The Outside Sales Representative?s core duties involve visiting prospective households, educating and recruiting them to participate in the TV ratings. Once a household decides to participate, Sales Representatives must complete an interview (lasting 20-30 minutes) using a lap top computer. Once the interview is completed the Sales Representative will be responsible for setting up equipment on every TV in the household. Families will receive an incentive for participating in the Neilson ratings program. Nielsen Representatives are responsible for tracking these incentives used in the household recruitment process.
